Dutch Netflix Slate 2026: All The New Movies & Series Coming This Year

While the Benelux did not host a major showcase event this year, a number of projects from the Low Lands are still heading to the streaming platform in the months ahead. From glamorous intrigue in Knokke to one of the most notorious kidnappings in Dutch history, Netflix continues to invest in Dutch-language productions. Following earlier successes such as Undercover and Ferry, the platform is steadily building a strong local line-up with international appeal. Here is an overview of the new Dutch films and series coming soon to Netflix. High Tides (Knokke Off) Season 3 Type: Series Release: April 3 (excluding Belgium) The third and final season of Knokke Off brings the popular drama series to a close. After spending several months in a psychiatric institution, Louise returns to Knokke determined to regain control of her life. However, she quickly discovers that nothing is the same as she left it. Alex and Daan are keeping secrets. The powerful Vandael family real estate empire is under serious strain. When rival Anton Vermeer reappears, debts, lies, and tensions continue to rise. The central question is whether Louise, Daan, and Alex will remain true to themselves or become permanently entangled in their own web of intrigue. The cast includes Pommelien Thijs, Willem De Schryver, Anna Drijver, and Daan Schuurmans. The Perfect Lie (De Eetclub) Type: Series Release: 2026 Picture Credit: Netflix The new Netflix series De Eetclub is based on the bestselling novel by Dutch author Saskia Noort. When Karen moves to Bergen with her family, they are warmly welcomed into what appears to be a close-knit circle of friends who enjoy an extravagant lifestyle filled with dinner parties and luxury. That polished surface begins to crack when one of the villas goes up in flames and their friend Evert dies in the fire. It soon becomes clear that beneath the friendships lies a network of lies and hidden secrets. Determined to uncover the truth, Karen sets out to investigate, even if it comes at a significant personal cost. The lead roles are played by Loes Haverkort, Remko Vrijdag, Noortje Herlaar, and Rifka Lodeizen. Toos Type: Series Release: 2026 The upcoming drama series Toos is inspired by the 1982 kidnapping of Toos van der Valk, a case that gripped the Netherlands for weeks. Lies Visschedijk portrays Toos, while Frank Lammers, known for Undercover, plays hotel magnate Gerrit van der Valk. What follows is a nerve-racking twenty-day ordeal. As the family struggles to hold everything together under intense pressure, police officer Cor Mulder goes undercover at the hotel in an attempt to track down the kidnappers. At the same time, Toos herself must do everything in her power to survive captivity. Roosters (Haantjes) (Season 2) Type: Series Release: 2026 Picture Credit: Netflix After a first season that spent weeks at the top of the Netflix Top 10 in both the Netherlands and Belgium, Haantjes returns for a second season. Mike, Danny, Ivo, and Greg continue their journey as so-called new men. Since attending a confrontational course aimed at reshaping their views, they have become more self-aware and emotionally open. However, their new attitude clashes with the expectations of the people around them. Returning cast members include Jeroen Spitzenberger, Waldemar Torenstra, André Dongelmans, and Benja Bruijning, joined by new additions such as Tanja Jess and Freek Bartels. Love is Blind: Netherlands Type: Reality Series Release: 2026 Picture Credit: Netflix The global dating experiment Love is Blind is getting a Dutch edition. Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smit will host the series. The concept remains unchanged. Singles get to know one another without ever seeing each other face-to-face. Only after a potential proposal do they finally meet in person.
