Picture Credit: Prime Video One of Amazon’s first-ever flagship originals is heading to its biggest rival. We can now confirm that the multi-Emmy-winning alternate history drama The Man in the High Castle will be available on Netflix US and other regions in March. We can confirm that all 4 seasons of The Man in the High Castle will be available to stream on Netflix US and other regions starting Wednesday, March 11th, 2026. Most regions are getting the show in addition to the United States, including the United Kingdom, Australia, most of mainland Europe, and Latin America. We were unable to confirm whether the series will be available on Netflix Canada.  The arrival of The Man in the High Castle on Netflix follows a massive surprise licensing agreement among Amazon, MGM Studios, and Netflix, struck late last year. This deal, which initially included high-profile titles such as James Bond (Skyfall, No Time to Die), Rocky, and Hunters, is part of Amazon’s new strategy to monetize older library content through rival streamers. Other titles are expected down the line. Should the series licensing follow the same pattern as the Al Pacino show Hunters, The Man in the High Castle will remain on Netflix for at least a year, meaning it’ll expire in March 2027.  While the show remains a Prime Video Original in branding, it is the first time a series of this magnitude—one that helped define Prime Video’s early identity—has been licensed to Netflix.  What is The Man in the High Castle? Based on Philip K. Dick’s 1962 Hugo Award-winning novel, the series is executive produced by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner) and Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files). It presents a chilling alternate reality where the Allied Powers lost World War II, and the United States has been partitioned between the Greater German Reich in the East and the Japanese Pacific States in the West. The story follows a group of individuals who discover a series of mysterious propaganda films—showing a world where the Allies actually won—which spark a dangerous resistance movement. The show was a critical darling during its run, praised for its incredible world-building, high production values, and the terrifyingly nuanced performance of Rufus Sewell as Obergruppenführer John Smith. The Cast of The Man in the High Castle The ensemble cast features a mix of veteran actors and breakout stars: Alexa Davalos as Juliana Crain, the woman at the center of the resistance. Rufus Sewell (Netflix’s The Diplomat) as John Smith, a high-ranking Nazi official. Luke Kleintank as Joe Blake. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Nobusuke Tagomi. Joel de la Fuente as Inspector Kido. Brennan Brown as Robert Childan. Will you be revisiting The High Castle on Netflix this March? Let us know your thoughts on Amazon originals moving streamers in the comments!
