One Piece Season 2 Trailer Revealed, 26 New First Looks and Global Fan Tour Unveiled
We also got a brand new note from Eiichiro Oda ahead of the series return to Netflix in March.

The Straw Hats are officially back! Netflix has just dropped the massive first trailer for ONE PIECE Season 2, titled Into the Grand Line, confirming a March 2026 release date, a global fan tour, and a special message from creator Eiichiro Oda.
It’s been a long wait since the live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE took the world by storm in late 2023, but the journey to the Grand Line is finally about to begin. Today, Netflix pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated second season, giving us our first look at the next chapter of Monkey D. Luffy’s quest to become King of the Pirates.
The new trailer promises a massive scale-up for the series as the Straw Hat crew leaves the East Blue behind and enters the “Pirate Graveyard” known as the Grand Line. We get glimpses of “bizarre islands” and the “formidable new enemies” mentioned in the official synopsis.

A Special Message from Eiichiro Oda
As is tradition with the live-action series, creator Eiichiro Oda is heavily involved. Alongside the trailer, Netflix shared a personally penned letter from Oda-Sensei sharing his excitement for the new season:
“It’s almost ready!! With Season 1, we faced the world’s question head-on: “Can ONE PIECE really be adapted into live-action?!” and the answer spoke for itself, reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries and territories, and No. 1 in 46!

Netflix is turning the launch into a worldwide celebration with 13 global fan screenings and activations. These events, titled “Journey to the Grand Line,” will take place across the following dates:

February 28-March 1: Paris, France
March 4-8: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
March 5: Tokyo, Japan

First Look Images: Chopper, Robin, and Baroque Works Revealed
Alongside the trailer, Netflix released a massive gallery of “first look” images, giving us our best glimpse yet at the new characters joining the cast. Most notably, we see the first live-action footage of Tony Tony Chopper, the crew’s future doctor. The images also introduce Lera Abova as the mysterious Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin), David Dastmalchian as the villainous Mr. 3, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday. We also get looks at the Drum Island arc stars, including Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, and Rob Colletti as the villainous Wapol. Perhaps most exciting for long-time fans is the first look at Laboon, the giant island-eating whale!
