A quiet week for new arrivals on Netflix US

Welcome back to another weekly rundown of everything added to Netflix US over the past seven days. As always, when a cornerstone or flagship title returns, Netflix keeps the week a little quieter so as not to crowd it out and give it room to breathe. We are, of course, referring to the return of Bridgerton, but there were still plenty of other titles worth watching this week. Here are our top picks, the Netflix Top 10s, and the full list of all 10 new movies and 10 new series added.
In case you missed it, we finally got Netflix’s full lineup for March 2026 this week, and there are a bunch of interesting new titles on the way. Whether it’s all three seasons of HBO’s The Ricky Gervais Show or some of the newer Netflix Originals added to the lineup, there is truly something for everyone.
What to Watch on Netflix This Week
For our picks this week, we’re going to assume you already know about and have already binged through all of the new Bridgerton episodes.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (2023)
Rating: PG-13
Runtime: 163 mins
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Writer: Bruce Geller, Christopher McQuarrie, Erik Jendresen
Country of Origin: United States
Cast: Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames
For whatever reason, the most recent two Mission: Impossible movies weren’t quite the smash-hit blockbusters that Paramount—which snapped up Warner Bros. this week following Netflix ducking out of the bidding war—was hoping for. Nevertheless, they are both really solid, fantastic films, despite the main enemy being a pretty dull, faceless AI.
Everything the series is known for is on full display in this particular entry, which serves as the first of two parts. Expect death-defying stunts, an incredible ensemble cast, convincing action and chase sequences, and plenty of gadgets thrown in for good measure.
The Forsyte Saga (Series 1-2)
Episodes: 12
Rating: TV-PG
Cast: Damian Lewis, Rupert Graves, Gina McKee
Picture: PBS Masterpiece
If you love your British period dramas from yesteryear, boy, did Netflix lay a good surprise on you today. Both seasons of the classic period drama dropped today, a decade after they last streamed.
Based on John Galsworthy’s celebrated series of novels, this sweeping epic chronicles the lives, loves, and tragedies of the wealthy, upper-middle-class Forsyte family from the 1870s to the 1920s. The story primarily centers on the arrogant and materialistic Soames Forsyte and his turbulent marriage to the beautiful but reluctant Irene. Spanning three generations, it is a gripping tale of jealousy, betrayal, and the rapidly shifting social dynamics of early 20th-century England.

The Commune (2016)
Language: Danish
Runtime: 111 mins
Rating: TV-MA
Director: Thomas Vinterberg
Writer: Tobias Lindholm, Mogens Rukov, Thomas Vinterberg
Country of Origin: Denmark
Cast: Fares Fares, Trine Dyrholm, Ulrich Thomsen
Finally, we’re taking a trip to Scandinavia with our next pick, a film from the prestigious back catalog of Thomas Vinterberg. He reunited with writer Tobias Lindholm (both known for the movie The Hunt) for a feel-good drama that centers on a successful architecture professor who inherits a large mansion and decides to set up a commune with his wife, Anna, and daughter, Freja. It’s a quaint movie featuring a large regional cast that is often incredibly witty and moving.
