The highly anticipated historical mystery thriller Unveil: Jadewind (also known as Tang Gong Qi An Zhi Qing Wu Feng Ming) is making its global debut on Netflix. Starring popular actors Bai Lu and Wang Xingyue, the series will begin dropping weekly episodes starting February 5th, 2026.
The new series, known domestically as Tang Gong Qi An Zhi Qing Wu Feng Ming, is produced by Youku, aired first on CCTV, and directed by Yin Tao (The Blood of Youth, Destined).
Current release schedules indicate this is a global license, meaning it will be available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other major territories on February 5th. However, as with all licensed content, availability is subject to change based on region. You can set a reminder within the Netflix app to get notified the moment the first episode drops.
Here’s everything you need to know about Unveil: Jadewind coming to Netflix.
What is Unveil: Jadewind about?
Based on the novel Tang Gong Qi An Zhi Xue Yu She by Sen Lin Lu, the series is a historical suspense drama set during the Tang Dynasty.
It follows Li Peiyi, a female historian and high-ranking official in the Inner Court Bureau. Despite her cold demeanor, she possesses elite martial arts skills. During the lantern festival, a Princess dies mysteriously, forcing Li Peiyi to team up with Xiao Huaijin, a brilliant official from the Astronomy Bureau who has a photographic memory.
While they start as rivals with clashing personalities—the “warrior” and the “genius”—they eventually form a formidable investigative team. Together, they navigate the treacherous political waters of the Tang court to solve a series of strange cases, eventually uncovering a conspiracy linked to a tragedy from fifteen years ago.
Who is in the cast?
The biggest draw for the series is the reunion of its two leads, who previously starred together in the 2021 hit One and Only. Bai Lu leads the cast as Li Peiyi. Netflix subscribers may recognize her from Till the End of the Moon or Story of Kunning Palace. Wang Xingyue stars opposite her as Xiao Huaijin. He has recently seen a surge in popularity following The Double.
The supporting cast includes Yao Anna, Zhao Qing, Zhao Yiqin, Zhang Weina, and Dai Luwa.
When will Unveil: Jadewind be on Netflix?
