Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Final-year students awaiting results may also apply, provided they meet eligibility criteria at the time of the Main Examination.

Selection Process

The selection for UPSC Civil Services is conducted in three stages:

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates are appointed to Group A services with pay and perks under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Entry-level officers typically start at Pay Level 10, with basic pay and allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and others.
