Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must hold aBachelor’s degreefrom a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Final-year students awaiting results may also apply, provided they meet eligibility criteria at the time of the Main Examination.

Maximum Age:32 years (Relaxations applicable for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD as per rules)
Nationality:
Indian citizenship is mandatory for IAS, IPS, and IFS posts.
Selection Process
The selection for UPSC Civil Services is conducted inthree stages:
Preliminary Examination– Objective type screening test.
Main Examination– Written descriptive papers.
Personality Test (Interview)– Final merit ranking.
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates are appointed to Group A services with pay and perks under the7th Central Pay Commission. Entry-level officers typically start atPay Level 10, with basic pay and allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and others.
